In 1870, one man working at ACME Whistles had an idea for a journey that would last to this day.
Joseph Hudson, an English farm labourer, began selling handcrafted whistles, though he had little success. His big break came 13 years later when he saw an advertisement for a new noisemaker to replace the old wooden rattlers used by the London Metropolitan Police. Hudson applied and was selected for the job, and the rest is history.

Joseph Hudson established ACME Whistles in Birmingham, United Kingdom, in 1870. The company rapidly grew to become the world’s top whistle maker in the world-class industry. As ACME Whistles celebrates its 150th year in business. It is safe to assume that the company has a slew of fascinating stories to tell the rest of the world about its history. When they contacted us to help them present their story in a fresh and creative manner. We were delighted to accept their offer.
The task of capturing more than a century and a half of history in only 90 seconds (we could speak about it all day) is no small task. But we believe we’ve accomplished it through thoughtful scriptwriting, innovative thinking, and clever animation.
